Both the pencil bag and app are indispensable tools for the studio and in the field. Watch the video below for a demo on how I use them. Additional items I mention in the video are listed below.
Let me know what you think.

Do you participate in the Summerfest showing this week on the Logan Tabernacle grounds?
ReplyDeleteAgree a grid map can be very useful

Hadn't heard about it. But it sounds like fun!
DeleteThank you Brad for the tips. You always have the best helpful information. I'm going to download the app now. Thank you for generously sharing your finds.
ReplyDeleteYou are very welcome Martha. Let me know how it works for you.
DeleteThose are some very cool tools, Brad. I have their proportional dividers, very useful for scaling and measuring.
ReplyDeleteI definitely need to get the sketch caddy and some of the tools you have listed from Amazon.
ON the Sketch Caddy App, does the app work with direct live scenes from the camera? Or do you have to snap a picture first? It would be really cool if it overlayed the grid of different proportions over a live scene until you find a composition you like and then to capture that scene.
Thanks for sharing the tools! Much appreciated!
The grid doesn't work live. You have to take the shot and then it adds the selected grid to the photo.
