I plan to spend the whole week just doing thumbnails, which will be a kind of visual brainstorming. I'll post the results.Brad Tearehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04311014022243382658noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5200138797648475238.post-43710227238513265142013-10-08T21:20:34.566-06:002013-10-08T21:20:34.566-06:00Biblical scenes are fun to paint because there is ...Biblical scenes are fun to paint because there is the challenge to come up with a design different from the Masters. I was guessing he left the oil/chalk mixture on his palette for a few days to let it set up. Many thanks for this valuable link!Brad Tearehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04311014022243382658noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5200138797648475238.post-58043982459702151822013-10-08T09:20:56.634-06:002013-10-08T09:20:56.634-06:00A while back, you posted a YouTube video in which ...A while back, you posted a YouTube video in which you explored the use of burnt plate oil in a painting. You're probably already familiar with this, but here is a link to R's probable use of burnt plate oil to achieve his brushwork effects --

http://www.northernlightstudio.com/burnoil.php

Daveand so it goeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13668120838425360703noreply@blogger.com
